Little Handsome

Meet sweet J.T., who came in the studio to have his 2 month portraits. This adorable little guy had a rough start, being born at just under 3 pounds and spending quite awhile in the NICU. His session took a little more work to get to the end result, but what can you expect, his first months of life were spent being poked and prodded. My first thought was 'Perfection', when I took one look at his gorgeous red/blonde hair, chubby cheeks, and beautiful long eyelashes (click the image below to see what I mean). I really enjoyed our session and enjoyed meeting your family!

Sweet P

Miss P is the sweetest little thing. So so smiley and adorable, with her rosy cheeks and frankenstein walk. She came in for her 1 year session last week, zoomed through 3-4 outfits and was on her way.

Carson- 5 Days New

Meet sweet Carson, who was a perfect angel for his session. He came in sound asleep,
peeked his eyes open a few times, didn't cry except for his few cute little protests,
and didn't even make a pile of laundry for me like most little boys. When it comes to newborns there is definitely something special about that 5-10 day window, when they finally get the hang of eating and getting their belly full, still squishy and bendable, and the 2nd most
important thing in life is sleeping. I thought he looked just like one of those Ashton
Drake Gallery Dolls in the image below..

Little Miss J

I have the pleasure of photographing Miss J every few months since she is one of my "First Year" babies. She is quite the cutie, one look at those beautiful blue eyes and adorable chubby checks, you will see just what I mean. Her mom said she just wasn't her self at our session, darn new teeth were really bothering her, but she did a great job putting up with multiple outfit changes and posing for the camera.

I love the image above! She spent most of the session sticking her tongue out and she looked too too cute doing it!

One Cute Kid

Mr. A is such a sweet and totally adorable kid that just didn't have time to sit still for his session. His mom and I patiently waited for him to land in front of the camera and somehow managed to get a full session of adorable images! Two year olds are one of the toughest ages to photograph but with plenty of patience and a few miracles they can be one of the most rewarding. It is so fascinating to watch a two year old explore and discover all the new and exciting things that we find mundane. How watching the traffic out the window is as exciting as the newest blockbuster, a simple game of catch can bring out the biggest smiles and giggles, and a bag of cheerios can cure most anything!

Miss Brooklyn

This week is full of newborns and Miss Brooklyn was first up. She came in bright eyed and bushy tailed, and it took quite a bit of convincing to get her to doze off. But it was well worth the wait, she was absolutely adorable. You may have seen her featured last week in the Beatrice Daily Sun. She was in such a hurry to meet her daddy that she decided to make her grand entrance on the first day he was home on leave. He is shipping out again today, so I would like to wish him best wishes for a safe return.

Better Late than Never!!

I know Miss B's mom is probably waiting on these and I'm sorry it took a little longer, but I had a few kinks in the internet department. All problems should be fixed and your Proof Gallery will be online this afternoon.

Little Miss K

This little redheaded sweetheart came in to celebrate her 1st Birthday. Such an adorable little girl with so much personality! I have a new trick for keeping one year old walkers still, put them in new sandals, poor Miss K didn't know what to think of her cool new shoes!
When we pulled out the cake, she wasted no time digging in, eating all of the frosting.

I {Heart} Newborns

I saw this awesome program on another photographer's blog and thought it was too neat to pass up, besides that it is FREE!! I figured the heart shape was appropriate since newborns are my favorites. This collage took me under 5 minutes to make, it is sooooo simple!! Download the program here: http://www.vincentcheung.ca/shapecollage/.
Just a reminder that all newborn sessions are complimentary for a very limited time!
Call Courtney to discuss the details!

What's cuter than a puppy?

How about 5 puppies!?
A good friend of mine brought in two litters of German Shorthair puppies to the studio today to be photographed for their website, http://birdcountryshorthairs.com/ . Sheila and her husband Kevan raise and train these gorgeous hunting dogs. If you want a well bred, and hand raised pup then give them a call.

Meet one of the Littlest Heroes, Brody...

A couple weeks ago Brody's mama called to book a session and as we got to talking I found out that Brody has Cystic Fibrosis. I mentioned to her that I volunteer for The Littlest Heroes Project and that I would be more than willing to do a session with him for this project if she would like. Well due to a few illnesses on my part the session has been delayed, but I was not going to chance risking Brody's health, as his parent's have been diligent about keeping this little man healthy. So far they have done an excellent job, Brody is such a content and happy baby, even with the daily treatments and medicine he must take.

I loved his little Superman shirt! Yes, Brody you are definitely a Super Hero!
I can't forget about his big sister, sweet Miss S. She kept me entertained while Brody was being fed, and entertain she did. I heard all about her Barbies and The Never-Ending Story (one of my favorites too), she sang me songs, danced, played a little football with dad, and chatted with me the whole time. Not a dull moment when Miss S is around!

Jason and Michelle, Thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet and photograph your sweet children! I enjoyed every moment!
