Hi There! Welcome to Crumrine Photography's Blog...
This is where I will share sneak peeks of my beautiful clients, announcements, special promotions, and news. I love to read all your comments and as a big thank you for taking your time to give me feedback I will randomly choose from those comments and give away gift certificates from Crumrine Photography and some of my favorite local businesses.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit again soon!
This adorable little guy almost got the best of us, he did not want to miss out on a minute of his first
photo shoot so he decided to stay awake for the entire thing. It's a good thing his parents and I were patient
because when he finally gave in he was out cold and we were able to get some really cute shots.

I had a blast driving around to all of the fun locations with Caitlin for her summer senior session! We will be seeing a lot of each other over the next few months since she has decided to have her portraits done 3 times, summer, fall, and winter.

My friend and fellow shutterbug got married this weekend and I had the privilege of being the photographer. Since he enjoys photography so much and knows the importance of capturing these once in a lifetime events he allowed me as much time as possible to shoot. It would have been an awesome experience if it weren't for the sweltering heat and humidity, their wedding party were all good sports about it and we captured some great shots. I am just sharing one image for now, because I need to get caught up, but I'm sure there will be more to come!
I had a great time meeting up with Tammy in Humboldt for her outdoor session. She is a great young woman and has really grown up since I babysat for her so many years ago.

It was my pleasure to photograph this adorable little girly again! Her mom has great choice in clothing and really knows how to accessorize!

Nick and Miranda live a couple hours away so we scheduled both her bridal session and the engagement session on the same day, and lucky for us we had great weather. They are an adorable couple and were up for anything, so of course I took advantage it and went all over Beatrice. With such great attitudes and wonderful chemistry between the two of them I am truly excited for their wedding later this month.
What a great session you can have when you have subjects like A & Z! They are so well-behaved and Mr. Z could charm anyone, I know he sure did me!! Love his sun-kissed cheeks, those awesome green eyes, and the ornery smile, reminded me of my own son Bridger.

Miss A is at that 'wonderful' teenage stage where having family portraits done is probably not as important as say, watching the shirtless guys playing
frisbee golf, but she suffered through it. Thanks for going easy on me, I know the wrath of a teenage girl can be quite frightening, I have a couple in my home!!

I loved everything about this session, her dress, the
looooong veil, her attitude and those gorgeous blue eyes! I have plenty full length images to show off that awesome dress, but we will keep a few
surprises for the wedding day!

I had done Miss B's dance pictures before and this time she brought along her cutie patootie look-alike Miss T. When we were done with the dance outfits we did some of Miss T in the almost 100 year old heirloom dress that her Great Grandmother had worn.
Little C has come in to visit me in the studio quite a few times before but this was our first venture outdoors for a session. He wasn't to fond of the grass or the cute little hat his mom brought along, but I think we got a few keepers!
I have someone with tech support assisting me at this time and hope to have the problem fixed soon! Thanks for your patience!
When I posted Brad and Ashley's engagement session I said I knew they would make a stunning couple on their wedding day and they did not disappoint!! From Ashley's gorgeous dress to the beautiful floral arrangements everything was just perfect. I also knew from our previous session that these two have great chemistry and never-ending smiles, which make for some easy portraits. We traveled to downtown Lincoln before the ceremony to the Capitol where we were able to get some great shots. Lucky for me Ashley works there and knew some of the best areas, the lighting was just gorgeous in the long hallways and on the balcony.

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs.
Colee!
The 2010 Senior Portrait Season is officially underway!!
I have decided it would be fun to kick off the season with a Give Away.
There will be many prizes to be won with one person winning a Complimentary Session!
Entry deadline is June 30, 2009
One entry per person, but feel free to have your friends and family enter!!

The adorable Mr. O came in for his 1 year session and couldn't have been any cuter.

I don't think I could have asked for a more perfect day for a wedding! This awesome couple made my day so easy, they were so laid back and their wedding party was up for anything.
Sarah, I hope you have a huge scrapbook for all of your images, I think your going to need one!

I was totally swept off my feet by a 5 year old at a wedding I photographed saturday!! Mr. Fancy Pants as he would like to be called or "Just Fancy" as he so charmingly told me is a real heartbreaker. From the moment I saw him peeking out the front door of the church I knew he was quite the character!
I have a real wedding sneak peek to share tomorrow, but I couldn't help but showcase my new little friend!
Mr. T is probably one of the easiest and most smiley 1 year olds that I have been lucky enough to photograph. I hadn't seen him since our session last fall and boy has he grown up! I have had the pleasure of photographing his family now for a couple years and was honored to be be chosen to capture his first year.
Kim, I should be done with the rest of his proofs today, sorry for the delay in the sneak peek!
I apologize for not sharing this beautiful wedding with you! I have all the images done, the book has been ordered, and the bride brought it to my attention that I didn't do a sneak peek! We left for Chicago the day after this wedding, through the chaos of that and trying to get caught up afterwards it totally slipped my mind. I am so sorry!!

I try to do something a little different for each bride and groom with their rings, but this bible verse is just perfect and has become one of my standard shots. I loved how this one turned out!

They say it is lucky if it rains on your wedding day, if so then this couple will be blessed. As I arrived to the church the skies opened up and it really poured, but then all blew over and we were able to get some shots outside.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Smith!!
I met up with this awesome couple for their engagement session at the UNL east campus. It was a gorgeous day, I couldn't have asked for better weather or subjects.
Mollie and Tony were so fun and easy to work with, they laughed their way through the whole session.
Although I have to give them credit, they were very polite in not laughing at me when I tripped and fell over a curb. I'm sure it was quite the sight, if it weren't for the fact I was afraid I was going to hurt my back I would have been laughing too!!

Love love love this series!

I can't wait to photograph their wedding in August!
Adorable Mr. K came in to kick off my week full of one year olds. He is such a cutie and his wardrobe is equally as adorable, his mom has great taste when it comes to clothes! Love this first image showing off those pearly whites!

We venture outside for a few images, but Mr. K was too busy and just wanted to explore.
Such a boy!

I am finally feeling back to normal and wanting to get back into the studio. What better way is there than to offer a fun mini session.

Don't worry I'll be back in the office again on Friday. Enjoy your holiday weekend!!
I was just notified that my website is currently offline and I am working to get it restored. I will hopefully have it up and running soon. Thanks for your patience!
I am beinning to feel some relief, after seeing a specialist and having an epidural, I will also be going through some physical therapy to hopefully get me over the last hurdle. I am beginning to book sessions again and will hopefully be back into the swing of things by the end of the month. I really want to thank all you wonderful people who have been so patient with me. I truely appreciate all the great customers I have!
I know that I have some customers that are waiting to see their proofs and others that need to get with me to place orders. I am at this time taking a little break from the studio
computer work to focus on my health. I have been having some issues with back and leg pain, and until I can get some relief I will not be working on any new orders or sessions. Please bear with me while I try to get my health needs in check. I will be able to answer emails, from my laptop, but
any other computer work will be put on hold. Thank you for you
patience and
understanding.
This sweet couple was up for anything, posed in a few locations that I am sure they thought were a little crazy, and spent a wonderful 3 hours with me! We couldn't have asked for better weather, but since mother nature forced us to reschedule their session she owed us big time!
I had so much creative freedom with this session that I had a very difficult time choosing my three images to share. So I decided to make one of them a triptych, which is a display or work of art consisting of three images, paintings, or panels.
Please click on the images to view them larger.

With my current addiction to the Twilight book series and movie how could I
resist posting this image.

Can you find the heart hidden in this image? Too cool!

Shawn and Lisa, thank you for allowing me to go a little crazy with some of my ideas and for not laughing at them even though I know you wanted to! I will be posting your gallery soon, it has taken me a little longer to edit ALL of them, thanks for your patience!
I had a great time at my session with this absolutely adorable couple,
sure wish the weather would have cooperated as I would have loved
to have spent some time outdoors with them as well.

Showing off the
Bling!

I am really looking forward to their wedding in June, as I am positive
that these two are going to be totally stunning.

Nolan was in a big hurry to graduate, he finished at semester and is already enrolled and taking college courses. Getting his Senior Portraits done, well I don't think that was as much of a priority, as he is probably my last 2009 Senior! I truly enjoyed his session, loved his gorgeous long hair and stunning green eyes, his mom had to keep reminding me
to get a few poses with his hair tied back!

Meet sweet J.T., who came in the studio to have his 2 month portraits. This adorable little guy had a rough start, being born at just under 3 pounds and spending quite awhile in the NICU. His session took a little more work to get to the end result, but what can you expect, his first months of life were spent being poked and prodded. My first thought was 'Perfection', when I took one look at his gorgeous red/blonde hair, chubby cheeks, and beautiful long eyelashes (click the image below to see what I mean). I really enjoyed our session and enjoyed meeting your family!

Meet sweet Carson, who was a perfect angel for his session. He came in sound asleep,
peeked his eyes open a few times, didn't cry except for his few cute little protests,
and didn't even make a pile of laundry for me like most little boys. When it comes to newborns there is definitely something special about that 5-10 day window, when they finally get the hang of eating and getting their belly full, still squishy and bendable, and the 2nd most
important thing in life is sleeping. I thought he looked just like one of those Ashton
Mr. A is such a sweet and totally adorable kid that just didn't have time to sit still for his session. His mom and I patiently waited for him to land in front of the camera and somehow managed to get a full session of adorable images! Two year olds are one of the toughest ages to photograph but with plenty of patience and a few miracles they can be one of the most rewarding. It is so fascinating to watch a two year old explore and discover all the new and exciting things that we find mundane. How watching the traffic out the window is as exciting as the newest blockbuster, a simple game of catch can bring out the biggest smiles and giggles, and a bag of cheerios can cure most anything!

This week is full of newborns and Miss Brooklyn was first up. She came in bright eyed and bushy tailed, and it took quite a bit of convincing to get her to doze off. But it was well worth the wait, she was absolutely adorable. You may have seen her featured last week in the Beatrice Daily Sun. She was in such a hurry to meet her daddy that she decided to make her grand entrance on the first day he was home on leave. He is shipping out again today, so I would like to wish him best wishes for a safe return.

I know Miss B's mom is probably waiting on these and I'm sorry it took a little longer, but I had a few kinks in the internet department. All problems should be fixed and your Proof Gallery will be online this afternoon.
