I had the pleasure of photographing this little cutie this morning. She was so full of smiles, but if you know me you know that I am a sucker for these pensive thoughtful looks!

She looked absolutely adorable in my new purple tutu! I will be making a few more of these in many different colors, for an upcoming mini session.

Harper- 8 days new

I want to share one of my job perks with you... meet Miss Harper! I can't tell you just how much I love my job! With her gorgeous black hair and perfect skin, she immediately captured my heart and I had the pleasure of spending 4 hours snuggling (oops), I mean photographing her. At first she wasn't sure if she wanted to go to sleep and miss out on all the action, but with a little bit of coaxing she was putty in my hands.

This one may have become my favorite newborn image!

Neapolitan Ice Cream

The following images remind me of the classic Neapolitan Ice Cream, you know the kind with three flavors, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Growing up I despised this flavor, as I only wanted to have vanilla. As I have grown and become a parent it has become an easy choice, a flavor to please everyone! The images below will hopefully be a neapolitan treat for your eyes!

Model Casting Call

I am in the need on 3-4 Mommy's and their children for some sample images for an upcoming portrait event.

Requirements:

Mommy's to be photographed with their:
6 -9 month old

2-3 year old

2 siblings (preferably ages 2-5)

6-10 year old

You will receive a complimentary mini session (15-20 minutes), 2 5x7, and 15% off any additional portrait purchases from this session.

Images need to take place between February 27 and March 20.

Each session will begin with a mini session in an outfit of choice (on white background) and conclude with cake smash, cake and balloons included.

Family Ties (Part 3)

Mr. S has probably changed the most since he was here last. We had an interesting time getting a few images of him in August, but today he was a changed man! He sat perfectly still, gave me the cutest little grins, and melted me with those blue eyes!

Next up was sweet Miss T! I wish we were able to see her everyday, she is such a ham and so darn smart. Sawyer and Miss T are the best of friends, they don't even mind that it has been 5 months since the last time they saw each other.

Family Ties (Part 1)

While my brother-in-law and his family are back from Washington I decided to squeeze in a few quick sessions. I will be posting a few images from each child's session, but decided that they are so cute they each deserve individual blog entries. The first one is my sweet niece Miss L, although we see her almost daily I had promised her Valentine cards and did her session too.

Seeing double

"double the giggles, double the grins, double the trouble if you're blessed with twins"

I finally had the chance to visit and photograph my brand new nephews! They were in the NICU for 2 weeks, but are now healthy enough to be home. They don't know if they are identical or not, but my guess is that we are indeed seeing double. The only way to tell them apart is that Brayson has a little more hair and Bransen likes to scratch his face. I can't wait to see these little guys grow up, they already have a bit of an ornery side. They both waited until their Dad was posing with them to give him a stinky little surprise and Bransen even "shot" his Dad in the ear! Yep, I would guess that they are going to be quite the pair growing up!

The Adorable Miss J

Miss J was one of my very first customers way back when she was just a little baby, no longer a baby she has turned into an adorable little girl! She was quite the ham, cheesing and showing off for the camera! The perfect little model.

Two Cute

I have had the pleasure of photographing this sweet pair a couple times now. They came in recently to have their Two Year Old portraits done, and they sure made us work for these adorable expressions! I have said it before and I will say it again I love 2 year old's. It is so exciting to see their individuality and vocabulary being expressed as only a 2 year old knows how to do! As always I enjoyed our session and I hope to see them again!
