Senior Time!

With school about to start High School Senior sessions are in full swing. I'm not sure why but it seems all the sessions I have on the books so far are guys. So all of you soon to be Senior Girls give me a call to schedule your sessions, I'm ready for some girly poses!
This handsome and very quiet senior came in this week for his photoshoot, he let me try out a few new ideas, and didn't even complain when we were attacked by mosquitoes. Thanks for being such a great sport through it all!

Hot Momma-To-Be

A fellow photographer convinced his beautiful girlfriend to come over for a little photoshoot, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She was willing to try all of our poses and different maternity wraps which just made my day. I'm sure we were driving her crazy with two photographers and two cameras but she was such a great sport. I can't wait to meet your little girl, hope she tolerates being a model as well as her momma did!

Carter {6 months}

I can't tell you how much I love this age group! I think every child should have 6 month portraits done if nothing else (well except newborns), there is so much personality and new found skills at this age. Mr. Carter was no exception, he had the best head full of hair and the sweetest expressions. We did get a few family shots but I wanted to share Carter for now.

Adam+Libby

I had the pleasure of photographing a very unique couple's wedding yesterday. They definitely made it Their day with a Friday evening ceremony, a special time capsule as part of the ceremony, the non-traditional attire, and easy-going attitudes. I really enjoyed following along with the rest of their family and capturing all of these wonderfully unique details.
Gorgeous location, Platte River State Park.
Beautiful sunset
Thank you for choosing me to help celebrate your marriage. I wish you good luck in your move to New York!

Random Image #1

"I wish you sunshine on your path and storms to season your journey." -Robert A. Ward I love a good summer thunderstorm, watching the clouds roll in, the smell of rain, and the cool breeze. I also love thunder and lightening, so my next photography goal is to capture an image of lightening. I don't get the chance to venture out in the storms because my husband is a big scaredy cat and won't usually let me leave the house, he is one of those people that hides in the basement during the smallest of storms! If there are any photography enthusiasts that would like to join me in shooting lightening during our next thunderstorm give me a call, I would love some company.

Little Sailor Boy

I had so much fun photographing sweet chubby cheeked, buddha bellied Caleb. He was such a perfect little model. Even though he wasn't in the mood to give out too many smiles, I was able to capture a ton of great expressions. With such gorgeous brown eyes and sweet pouty lips who needs smiles anyways!
Dawn, thank you for bringing Caleb in for his mini-session and I look forward to meeting everyone else at your Family Session.

Well I'm Back...

We had a nice little get-away vacation, spent time with Bryan's family, but now it's back to business. I have a ton of emails and messages to return and I will be busy getting back to you today. Yesterday I had to make a quick trip to Lincoln to get yet another cast on my daughter's leg, as she broke it again on the 4th. I promise to get all my messages returned today!
As soon as we got back I started right in with sessions. These little cuties came in to get some shots together for Grandma, and boy did they make Grandma work. Not to mention their mom's and myself. It is surprising just how fast one year olds can be!

It's LIVE!!

I finally added the last of the gallery images and put the final touches on the New Crumrine Photography Website! As I type this it is in the process of uploading to the server. There may be a few bugs to work out and if you see any typos please let me know, spelling is not my strongest asset. You may have to empty your internet files and cookies to view the new site.

The music is courtesy of Karly Jurgensen (a Nebraska girl) and Bishop Allen. Karley's song "Never To Far" is the first one that plays and her music is both soothing and a bit jazzy.

Check out her Website http://www.karlyjurgensen.com/

Bishop Allen's (http://www.bishopallen.com/) music is fun and funky! I looooove the song that I chose to play on the website "Click, Click, Click, Click", so turn up the volume and listen to the lyrics of both songs as they are pretty cool!

Please take some time a look around the new site, enjoy the new images, and check out the new pages as some of my policies have changed. Let me know what you think, I would love to hear from you!

Love this one!!

Sorry, Kaitlyn, but I'm only showing one sneak peek from your session. I have a couple more that I debated putting up too, but I just love this one. I might add a couple more when we get back from vacation so keep your eyes open!
Thank you girls for being such great sports and beautiful models, I'm already thinking of ideas for a session in the fall!

Hey Jaci, I got one!!

My brother-in-law, his wife, and kids are back from Washington so we tried to get some family pictures done, TRIED being the key word. I was pleasantly surprised when I was putting them on my computer and saw this one. It is definitely not the perfect shot, but I won't complain. When there is eye contact from all and 3 out of 5 are actually smiling that makes it a good shot, especially when your dealing with a 20 month old who is cutting teeth!!! Hopefully we will get a second chance before Jeff has to go back.

Freedom, Family, and Fireworks

I hope you all enjoy the 4th, a little BBQ, Family, Friends, and some fireworks. That's what we have in store for our family today. I think my husband enjoys the 4th as much as Christmas, when else do you get to eat BBQ Ribs and blow things up, his perfect day!

Patience, Emily, Patience!

I received a couple phone calls within hours of this shoot to find out "When are they going to be on the blog??!". Can we say Miss Emily is a bit impatient, but she is my daughter's best friend so I guess I will forgive her! This shoot was originally for her and her sister, but we had to drag her lil' brother in for just a few. Mr. J needed no posing he just did his thing, I was able to stand back and capture his natural expressions, such a cute little model!
When did she become so gorgeous? I think I am so used to her just being "Emily", the goofy, loud, very straight-forward, 13 year old, that I had never noticed what a pretty young lady she had become! First time getting to meet Miss E, she was very easy to work with. When you are as beautiful as she is it makes the job of photographer so much fun!
Just to show you that I did get some smiling ones, and they seem actually happy to be next to each other. That is something my kids need to practice on! Thank you for coming over, I hope you had as much fun as I did, and anytime you want to "model" give me a call!

Three Cuties!

I was lucky enough to have these three come into the studio today. Miss A was the winner of my 2007 image of the year and was redeeming her prize so she brought along her very handsome big brothers. Mom really wanted a shot of the boys kissing their little sister on the check but just as we tried it Big Z had a fit of the sneezes, poor boy's allergies just wouldn't let up. I can really feel for him as mine have been awful the last couple days too! Darn Nebraska Pollen anyways!
I think this one is pretty darn cute though!
Miss A in her favorite dress, fancy pink shoes, and pretty pink nails!
Thank you for coming in to visit, it was definitely fun! Oh yeah, Mr. Z's, I promise I wasn't following you!
