I was practicing some "fashion" lighting and caught these images of my 13 year old niece. I may be slightly biased but I don't think you would disagree that this girl is gorgeous!

Cuteness Overload
This weekend's brother session, loved the little guys smile and that drool!!
Big guy here would rather play with our cat "Willie" than get his picture taken. Willie was even lucky enough to get to come in the studio, which rarely happens, just so we could get a few more shots!
I am sorry it took a little longer for your sneak peek, I promise to have your proofs done on time though. It was nice to meet you and photograph your adorable boys. Mr. C is so animated, you'll be surprised with how many expressions I captured.

"You say it's your birthday!?!"
"It's my birthday too!
They say it's your birthday!
We're gonna have a good time!
I'm glad it's your birthday!
Happy birthday to you!"
( sung in my best Beatles voice)
So maybe it's not your birthday, but since it is mine I'm giving away birthday presents, today only! Be one of the first to email me and guess my age to win a surprise package (hint...hint....there will be loads of free stuff to hand out)!
And because I know his mom checks out the blog regularly I would like to wish Tristan J. a Happy 5th Birthday tomorrow.
While I'm busy wishing happy birthday, I would like to Congratulate Mike and Bridget on the birth of their new baby girls! Ericca, Denielle, and Breonna share the same birthday as my daughter Mackenzie, May 18.
I seriously can't wait to meet them and get them in front of my camera!!

We'll be away for a few days
We are going away on a little School's Out vacation, taking in a ball game and visiting the zoo. I will answer emails and return phone calls on Monday!
It is amazing what a difference a year makes. This cutie patootie made me really work for any image I got last year, but this year she was hamming it up and posing like you wouldn't believe. She has such gorgeous eyes and can give the best serious face ever!
Miss B thanks for coming in and seeing me again, it was a blast!

Grant+Nicole E-Session
I had a great session with an adorable couple, although Grant probably wouldn't say it was so great. Poor guy took a little fall right before the session and had to hobble around on a sore ankle the whole time, he was a good sport though and hardly complained a bit. I promise I have plenty of smiling images but these are a few of my favorites. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in the fall, if their friends and family are anything like them it is sure to be fun!

First 2009 Senior Rep!
Just a couple days after graduation and my senior sessions are already beginning. Meet "The Man of Many Words", he hands down wins the title of the quietest senior I have ever photographed. Although that's not a bad thing because he did every pose willingly and with a smile!
Are you interested in becoming a Crumrine Photography Senior Rep or know of a future 2009 graduate? If so give me a call (239-8922), I still have a few spots open.

My back yard!
I have a love/hate relationship with these little plants that grow in my backyard. They spread everywhere and are nearly impossible to get rid of, but if I let them grow they bloom with the cutest little white flowers. Well this year I told Bryan not to mow them off and we let a small patch go crazy and bloom. I had been wanting to do sessions in this patch but the only time of day that it gets the perfect light is mid day, 11:30-1:00, which I don't normally schedule sessions during. So I asked if my little muse, Allie, could come over and model for me. She was more interested in snacking on the flowers than taking photographs, but I think we got a few cute ones.

Adorable+6 month old= Fun Session
I have to admit that I didn't write down in my appointment book the age of the child that I would be photographing for this session and went into it totally unprepared. But no worries, Miss Tayla made my job easy peasy! I just love this age, next to newborns this would have to be my favorite age to photograph.
The B Family
The B Family welcomed their sweet little girl into the family only 9 days ago. Dad was such a pro, he should receive the title of "Baby Wrangler of the Year", and made the session go sooooo smooth! Little Miss Piper had a mind of her own and knew exactly how she wanted to pose, there was no tricking her into doing what the photographer wanted. As soon as I understood that we were working on her terms we were able to get some adorable images. I even think she enjoyed herself during the mommy/baby portion of the session. Just look at that smile!

Can you Believe it?
Playing catch-up!
I have been so busy with sessions that I almost forgot to post a sneak peak for this beautiful momma-to-be. It was a pleasure to meet you and I can hardly wait the few short weeks to meet the new little one!

Newlyborn Tyler
I have had the pleasure of photographing this little man's 2 older sisters and he was as much of a perfect model as they were. He was so wide awake and alert, holding his head up and follow my voice. I was able to get a ton of images like the first one with wide eyed looks.

My 1 Year "Blogiversary"
One year ago this month I started this little blog, not expecting it to become so well-received. In the past 8 months it has had almost 10,000 visitors. In the past 10 days alone I have had visitors from all over , Indiana, Texas, New York, Minnesota, and even Australia. I am a little bit addicted to checking the stats of my visitors. I love to see where they are from, how long they visited, and which blog entry seems to be the favorite. What I don't see very often is comments, and I love comments. So if you want to make a girl happy, please, please leave me a quick message!
And to honor this occasion I will be offering a contest with the largest prize ever!
(cue drum roll) Da Da Da Daum!!
A Free Session and $100 print credit!!
Please email (put Blog contest in the subject line) or leave me a comment about your favorite image on my blog or website. I love to hear feedback from my customers and future customers on which style of images you like. Or if you just think the sweet little girl/boy in the image is the cutest!
Contest ends May 31!

The EAGLE SCOUT AWARD is the highest award available to youth members of the Boy Scouts of America. Very few Scouts make it this far, only about 2% of all scouts, and it is a great achievement for all parties involved: the Scout, his family, his community, his unit, and the Boy Scouts of America. Congratulations Guys for all your hard work!

Congratulations Class of 2008!
I had the privilege of photographing our church's Senior Godparent Group before they graduated and moved on to bigger and better things. I can't even imagine how great it has been for them to have had Brian and Karen as their mentor/godparents for the last 4 years, they are the most down to earth, funny, and caring couple. Good Luck in whatever choices you make after graduation, I have a feeling they will all go on to do great things!
"God doesn't require us to succeed; he only requires that you try." -Mother Teresa
I would also like to congratulate the graduates that I had the pleasure of photographing this past year: Tiffany, Drew, Omar, Bailey, Mallory, Breanna, Alex, Marni, Paige, Kelly, Ashley, David, William, Patty, Tessa, Jessica, Dustin, Kandis, Brittany, Cassandra, Jenni-Lin, Joel, Megan, Amanda, and Carmalee! It was a pleasure getting to know each and everyone of you, and thank you for choosing Crumrine Photography.

Larry+Jaclyn
Beautiful wedding, adorable couple, and the sweetest Flower Girl and Ring Bearer ever! We had dreary gray skies and rain the whole wedding, but as the couple prepared to leave the church the clouds parted and they had some gorgeous sunshine!
You'll be seeing a ton of sneak peeks, so stay tuned!
My calender is booked up for last week and the next couple weeks so you will be seeing me post just about daily. Lots of adorable kids and a couple engagement sessions coming up, so hopefully this beautiful spring weather will hold out for a few more weeks. I am definitely not ready for summer, the hot humid days and the bugs, so I hope we have a nice loooong spring!
This is my second session with this little guy, and he keeps getting cuter. He even braved the mud and sprinkles to get some outdoor shots at my new favorite location.

Happy Mom's Day
Sleep in late, breakfast in bed, no laundry, no dirty dishes, a clean house, perfect 'angel' kids... a girl can dream can't she!?! Well actually I can't even be considered a girl anymore. My 2 year old told me yesterday "You not a girl you a mom!". So a "Mom" can dream can't she!?!
Enjoy your day tomorrow, spend time with your kids and don't forget to call your Mom!
Here's a few images from my engagement session on Friday. We had the perfect overcast, cool spring day, the weather most photographer's dream about!

Little Man Norman
Such a sweet sweet baby, he was sleepy and posable during the first half of the session and then content and wide eyed for all the brother shots. I loved this wall in the boys' bedroom, I couldn't resist incorporating it into the session.
They kept me on my toes!
Here's the sneak peek I promised these two spunky kiddo's mom. They were on the go the whole session. So what do you do to get a 3 and 4 year old to sit still? Stick them in a tree!!!

Newborn Braydon
I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable new little guy this morning. He had a bit of a rough start but now at a ripe old age of 9 days he is healthy and able to come into the studio to start his modeling career.
