All Boys!

Most photogs will tell you that boys are harder to photograph than girls. So when I noticed that I would be having only boy sessions last week, I started to worry. You see most boys hate the camera and just want to have the session over as soon as possible. But I think you'll agree that the camera loved these cuties, OOPS!, I mean handsome boys!! Thank you guys for being such good sports during your sessions.

And to top it all off, they all had Beautiful Blue eyes!

Non People Pictures

I do take pictures just for fun, I forget to share them though! Sometimes I would get in the car and go out driving by myself and have a little fun with my camera. Life has gotten too crazy and those little trips never happen. Maybe I can make a date with myself and go out driving one of these evenings. If I do I'll share some of my shots with you! But until then, here are a few non-people shots that I like!

Almost 100 sessions!!!

I can't believe I am coming up on my 100th session! Thank you to all my past customers, you are the reason that I have come this far. Little Miss "Allie Cat"

Our sweet new niece finally made her debut today. She was the most cooperative model, slept so soundly the whole time we were there. I'm sure you will see more of this little sweetie, as we have another photo shoot planned for later this week!

She is already tired of Aunt Courtney's camera, and at less than 1 day old!!

I can hardly believe it has been a whole year since I first photographed this sweet little angel! She really wasn't in the mood for pictures, so I am extremely happy with this image. I did a special painted canvas technique on this one, so click the image and enlarge it to see the details.

Who does she remind You of ?!?

I knew from the moment I took this image that it would be a favorite of mine. She is a gorgeous girl, and would you believe she is only going to be a freshman!

This is the image I took when I realized who it is that she reminds me of. I want to see if anyone else sees the resemblance, so if she reminds you of anyone leave me a comment! Hint: Think 90's t.v. shows!!

worth the wait!

I have been waiting for over a month to get this little guy in my studio. His chubby little cheeks are so stinkin' cute! He wasn't in the mood for a nap so this is the only image I have of him with his eyes closed, but isn't it adorable!

Silhouette

I have been meaning to take some silhouettes lately, but I always seem to forget. I had the opportunity this morning with this adorable couple. I wish it was a more interesting sky, but I think the blue is kinda cool too!

Sharing a few random shots

I'm back from the mission trip, very tired, and glad to be home! The kids had a great experience. I will share more in another post, but for now I wanted to let you all know that I will be getting in contact with everyone who emailed or left me a message later today. Thanks for being so patient!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new niece! The Mommy and Daddy to-be haven't decided on a name yet, but I'm rooting for "Claire"! I will have lots of new baby pics to share soon!!

You know I didn't forget about you, Alex, it has just been crazy busy around here. I had a very hard time deciding which image to post on my blog, there were too many to choose from. I promise I will have your album posted before I leave tomorrow.

I will be leaving on Sunday to go with my older girls on their Youth Mission Trip to Kansas City. I will return all e-mails and messages on Thursday, July 12.

More Senior Mini-Sessions

This girl has really grown up since I babysat for her quite a few years ago. She has matured into a pretty cool young lady. She has plans to go into a Firefighting/Paramedic career after high school, a kid after my own heart.Look at these gorgeous eyes!
Miss J has the most beautiful hair! This image doesn't give it justice, I will have to remember to showcase how long it is in her full session.

Isn't she the sweetest little doll?!! She has the cutest little personality to match, I think I could have taken pictures of her all day! She was all smiles, I actually had to work to get the serious looks from her. Little Miss C, your welcome in my studio anytime!!

Look how it "turned out" Mr. G!

I had the great pleasure of photography this sweet little 2 year old. He was so darn cute, he kept asking "did it turn out?" after I would take a shot. His mom told me that he loved to have his picture taken and she was right he was the perfect little model!

Urban Ballet

This image really speaks to me, and I felt the need to share it! It has been years since I donned a tutu and ballet slippers, but this image is something I would have loved to have done back then. You see my old dance instructor would harp on us if we would wear our ballet shoes anywhere besides in the studio. I wasn't too fond of her back then, so it was fun to traipse around in the alley during this session. Thanks, Miss P, for letting me live vicariously though you.

My Youngest Daughter

I've been wanting to get some new images of her, before her 9th birthday, and we had a beautiful day. These were taken at the PEO Home, they have the coolest front gate and gardens.

Under My Umbrella

I thought I would share a couple of my favorites, so far, from an engagement session I had today. They are a cute couple and I'm glad that I will get to be a part of the only "2 nice days" in their life. Although I'm sure there will be more, right Russ? Here's something a little different. I really like this image it reminds me of the Rihanna song "Under My Umbrella". Here's a little bit of the lyrics if your not familiar with it:
